This is a call for volunteers for Rainbowgasm on June 28th & 29th at Our 3rd Space located in Vancouver, WA. This two day event includes pride themed erotic pole performances, an erotic art gallery, erotic art booths and a nude erotic figure drawing class!
-Volunteer perks are dependent on time and position during the event. Each volunteer will receive free admission to the event, a free pole class and/or Rainbowgasm or Undressed PDX merch. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page!
-The medic position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The medic’s responsibility is to be present during the performances in case of injury.
-The assistant art handler set up position is needed for Friday June 27th starting at 6pm. The assistant art handler’s responsibility for set up is to assist with unpacking art, measuring and hanging art.
-The MC position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The mc’s responsibility is to introduce each dancer before their performances. A script will be provided.
-The money sweeper position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The money sweeper’s responsibility is to collect money from the audience members during the performances and collect the money thrown on the floor after the performances.
-The DJ position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The DJ’s responsibility is to play each dancer’s music for their performance.
-The art docent position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 6-11pm and Sunday June 29th from 4:30-9:30pm. The art docent’s responsibility is to assist with art sales and answer questions about art at the event. The artists and art information will be provided.
-The pole cleaner position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The pole cleaner’s responsibility is to clean the pole before each dancer performs. This requires you to clean the pole, so you must have climbing experience.
-The cashier position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 6-11pm and Sunday June 29th from 4:30-9:30pm. The cashier’s responsibility is to sell event merchandise, take donations and exchange cash for audience members to tip the dancers.
-The photographer position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 6-11pm and Sunday June 29th from 4:30-9:30pm. The photographer’s responsibility is to take pictures of audience members around the art and with performers when given consent.
-The stage manager position is needed for Saturday June 28th from 7-10pm and Sunday June 29th from 5-6pm. The stage manager”s responsibility is to assist performers back stage and cue them for their turn to take the stage.
-The program designer position is needed for Rainbowgasm. This position does not have a set time or date. The program designer’s responsibility is to organize the performers and artists information in a program, and have them printed in time for the event start date on June 28th.
-The assistant art handler take down position is needed for Monday June 30th starting at 6pm. The assistant art handler’s responsibility is to assist with taking art down and packing it up it up.
