Ruby's artistic journey began during their childhood in Alaska, where a love for drawing and dancing took hold. In 2010, they earned a bachelor’s degree in art and later moved from Alaska to Oregon in 2012. While aiming for grad school in Oregon, an unexpected opportunity led them to a master’s program in Arizona, where they earned a master’s in fine arts degree in 2015. Before returning to Oregon. In 2016, they joined the Feminist Art Conference residency in Toronto, Canada, a two-week experience that left a lasting impact.
Ruby's introduction to pole dancing came in 2016 through a close friend who was taking pole classes at the time. Their pole journey began in Portland, Oregon, and continued through moves to Arizona and back to Washington. In 2019, Ruby started stripping while in Arizona, which lasted five months before their return to Oregon, where they started dancing at Casa Diablo. After completing pole teacher certifications, Ruby began teaching pole classes at Studio 4 Pole 4 Fun in Vancouver, WA, in 2021.
Today, Ruby remains a versatile artist, also known for their roles as a stripper and pole teacher. With an abiding passion for creativity and movement, they continue to explore and learn, both in visual arts and pole dancing. Embracing the beauty of both art and dance, they thrive in exploring the intersection of these passions. Currently, they are venturing into the realm of erotic drawing classes, offering a unique opportunity to capture the beauty of nude pole dancers and strippers on paper. These engaging sessions, marked by sensuality and artistic expression, are currently available as pop-up classes in the Portland and Vancouver area
